The Street Parade is the world’s largest urban electronic music festival, held since 1993 in Zürich downtown. The last editions has drawn nearly one million visitors. Zürich is one of the most efficient and business-oriented cities in Europe, where people easily conform to a system that works like clockwork.

At the day of the Street Parade, it feels like people just let go. With my pictures I tried to bring out the routinary-hidden sides of the attenders, who dress up, kiss, dance and celebrate a carnivalesque freedom, which is sometimes grotesque, sometimes weird, others funny.
