With a bit of luck, I was catapulted in the backstage at the Yerevan International Ballet Festival 2025, capturing moments behind the performance of the Mariinsky Theatre from St. Petersburg — one of the world’s most renowned ballet and opera companies, founded in 1860 and home to generations of legendary dancers. They performed Les Sylphides by Frédéric Chopin and Shéhérazade by Michel Fokine.
