Gli agenti, dopo aver annunciato la loro presenza con gli altoparlanti,  danno agli abusivi l'ultimatum di andarsene. Alla fine della giornata, il sito \u00e8 sgomberato e restituito alle autorit\u00e0 cittadine.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circa 40 degli abusivi, che vivevano in furgoni e camion, si sono trasferiti nella Hardturmplatz, un lotto noto come La Rotonda, lasciato libero dalla demolizione dello stadio di Hardturm nel 2008. Qui, nel freddo nebbioso di febbraio, i residenti hanno iniziato a ricostruire le loro vite.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La Rotonda si \u00e8 lentamente trasformata in una zona autonoma.  Dopo essersi allacciati alla rete elettrica, la musica ha riempito l'aria, i camion sono stati trasformati in laboratori, studi di tatuaggi e spazi condivisi. Con il tempo, i residenti hanno creato una cucina, docce e una tenda per concerti. Giardini e piante abbelliscono il paesaggio brullo, trasformando un lotto desolato in un villaggio alternativo.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">L'idea principe di chi vive a La Rotonda \u00e8 il rifiuto di conformarsi agli esorbitanti costi per un'abitazione zurighese. La Svizzera \u00e8 alle prese con una grave crisi abitativa, soprattutto nei centri urbani. La maggior parte di loro vive abusivamente fin dall'adolescenza. \u201cFuori da qui devo lavorare, tutto costa e la polizia mi odia\u201d, mi ha detto Ramon, un camionista di 42 anni. Per lui e per molti altri, i loro carri simboleggiano la libert\u00e0, una casa e uno stile di vita.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nonostante ci\u00f2, il futuro di La Rotonda rimane incerto. L'insediamento \u00e8 illegale ma tollerato: i residenti ottengono permessi temporanei dall'amministrazione comunale, rinnovati ogni tre-sei mesi. Questo tipo di regolamentazione \u00e8 una precaria ancora di salvezza.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I piani per l'area rimangono in un limbo di stagnazione. La proposta di costruire un nuovo stadio e appartamenti di lusso \u00e8 rimasta in sospeso. L'idea di utilizzare il sito come campo profughi \u00e8 state respinte. Nel frattempo, La Rotonda sopravvive come microcosmo della crisi abitativa di Zurigo. I suoi residenti\u2014studenti, artisti, lavoratori edili e altri\u2014formano una comunit\u00e0 eterogenea e autosufficiente.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La vita a La Rotonda \u00e8 tutt'altro che facile. L'inverno porta condizioni aspre e la minaccia di sfratto incombe. Eppure, gli abusivi persistono, guidati dal loro motto: \"alles wird <del>gut<\/del> besetzt\" (\"andr\u00e0 tutto <del>bene<\/del> occupato\"). Here all the members met under the porch, outside the common kitchen. Roughly 40 people live in La rotonda, with a lot of turnover especially during summertime.
