Marwari weddings involve tons of rituals, radicated into millennia and transmitted through ancient Sanskrit texts. The groom’s and bride’s times are marked by a set of ceremonies or little practices, which can easily look like nothing is happening to a foreigner’s eye.

I tried to highlight these aspects with this small photo-story, aiming to preserve and pay respect to these ancestral traditions.
