Whenever there’s public discontent, people take to the streets and burst their anger. If I have the chance, I do not hesitate to report on these mass protests. This is a portfolio of pictures taken at the following public demonstrations:

• 12^th of May 2023, Belgrade. Tens of thousands of protesters occupied the highway in the second “Serbia against violence” demonstration after two mass shootings the week before (at a Belgrade school and near the town of Mladenovac) plunged Serbia into shock.
• 8^th of March 2024, Zürich. Feminist movements celebrated Women’s Day.
• 1^st of May 2024, Zürich. Workers demonstrated for their rights at Labour Day. 
• 25^th of May 2024, Zürich. Thousands rallied against high rents and housing crisis.
• 7^th of October 2024, Amsterdam. The Jewish community gathered in Dam Square for the first anniversary of the October 7 attacks, which initiated the Gaza war. Meanwhile, Palestine supporters held an anti-demonstration in the Central station and the streets nearby. Pictures are presented as a series of diptychs.
• 09^th of January 2025, Milan. Thousands took the streets demanding justice after the 19-year-old Ramy Elgaml died in a controversial chase with the police.
